One hundred and twenty-three Yorkshire terriers and other terrier breeds, nine of which are puppies, have been rescued from a feces-filled home in Poway, San Diego. This is after an elderly couple was discovered to be hoarding the dogs in their home. Initially, only 93 Yorkies were found. However, an anonymous tip has hinted that the couple is hiding more dogs at a different site.
More than 200 people have reached out to the San Diego Humane Society Facebook page, expressing their desire to adopt the dogs. Updates regarding when the Yorkies will be available for adoption will posted on their official website.
