The officers from Nottinghamshire Police Bethany De’Ath and James Lievesley rescued a Yorkshire Terrier after it was left in a hot car.
July 18, 2016 was considered one of the hottest days of the year in Bulwell. PCSOs Police officers spotted this wretched Yorkshire terrier inside a very hot car gasping for air, hence, were forced to crash the driver’s window.
The poor yorkie was seen alone in a car park around 10:00 in the morning where the temperature is around 20C to 24C. When the yorkie was saved, it was given water and was checked by the dog warden before they released it to its owner. The owner received a verbal warning about leaving animals in hot cars.
